I-130 STAGE 1 : 533 days - 1 year 6 months (4/16/2007 to 9/22/2008)

Priority Date I-130 : 4/16/2007 ( 533 days , APPROVED 9/22/2008)
Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)
NVC Received : 9/30/2008
Received Packet 3 (I-864/DS-230) : 11/10/2008
NVC says "RFE sent out 12/9/08 for missing documents" : 12/10/2008
CASE COMPLETE - 1/7/2009

CONSULATE STAGE 3 : 96 days - 3 months (1/8/2009 to 4/14/2009)
CLEARED CUSTOMS - 3/10/2009

05/18/2007 Filed I-129F at Chicago Office ( Filed 186 days ago) 6 MONTHS!!

05/20/2007 rec'd NOA (184 days ago for NOA I ) REACHED THE 6 MONTH MARK!!

I very much doubt they will let you inside with the DVD player. No electronics allowed--not even a cell phone.

cell phones are allowed in ATL provided they are in silent mode

dvd might be allowed as long as it passes thru the xray m/c

btw chief consider carrying a laptop inlieu of the DVD player cause they mgiht crib abt dvd but might allow laptop, i remember working on my laptop during my naturalization interview/ceremony. make sure ur laptop can play dvds. just a suggestion among the million you might be receiving,

thank you guys!! :thumbs: haha, I'll prepare a laptop in case they won't allow me to bring the DVD Player in... Thanks Mohgli! :thumbs: Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.. I miss being with her... even though I seen her last October.. it feels like a long time.. :crying: :crying: :crying: but I'm not giving up even if we get a denial.. All I said was I will move to China.. I can still apply for "direct consulate filing" :whistle: hehe.. just because I lose ONE battle, doesn't mean I lose the war... :no: :no: no sir! ....... actually it is only 8 days more, My Honey.. haha.. that's a lot less than two weeks... ^_^

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!! Too bad I couldn't be with her this year.. I already sent some candy and flowers =) See's Candies... yay.. a 5lb gift for her family, and a 2lb heart for her =) and also some Toffee-ettes =) yummy... :dance: :dance: but I do want to spend Valentine's day next year with her... I always go there on days that are not holidays.. so we never had a Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine's, together.. :(
