Pretty much the same as I did. Too damn cold!

I wanted to sit outside and watch the whole thing but it was so frickin cold I just kept looking out randomly so I didn't get to see all of it

Doh! We had rain tonight (one of the 15 nights a year we get rain in Phoenix, it seems!), so we missed it. I guess if I'd been more patient, I could have waited for cloud movement in the hope of catching a glimpse. Some nice lightning and thunder, though!

Olivia, those pictures are great.

March 7, 2005: I-129F NOA1

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

i tried to take pics of it but that didn't work out. i do have pics from the previous eclipse which was in 2002 or 2003?

next eclipse i heard is in 2010.

It was great! We were able to sit in our living room (avoiding having to go on our rooftop deck...brrr) and see the whole show. :dance:
