It's frustrating waiting something from NVC. Sometimes you'll think they are not being fair to everybody. Anyway, I think both of you will still be in for March '08 interview.

Boy, don't we share your feelings of frustration when we were on that stage of waiting! We have waited so much for our own schedule, checked online everyday, made sure NVC was going thru the whole thing, but my fiance never called the US embassy. Though i had less faith than him, he still believed occupying ourselves with other important visa details we cannot miss also help never to get so bored. I know the feeling, im more impatient of the two of us. I dont know how I pulled through, but one day, the schedule just appeared online. A week later, the packet came by mail. I called him up and we were so excited and relieved, as though a huge thorn has been pulled out of our chest.

Long and short of the story is, we could have done the same things you did, we could have harassed the embassy folks, but we didn't, cause eventually we knew the schedule will come. I know it's easier said than done! Haha. But when it's there, it's there. :) My suggestion is analyze other people's timelines to get an idea of how long on the average a type of visa is being processed. I did it and guessed our K1 packet will arrive on the 3rd week of Jan. It did arrive on the 24th!

Everyone here deserves kudos for enduring the sacrifice of spending time apart in exchange for a lifetime of being together! ;) . The wait is all worth it in the end.

your k1 which is a little different than the cr1 we have to wait for the NVC to assign us our interview date and they only do that once a month. where as yours gets sent directly to the embassy and the embassy schedules your interview.
