Someone here will know, I am sure!

Thov qhia rau koj tus kws khomob paub yog tias koj xav tau tshuaj ntxiv.

I know what it means, it's just that it looks more like a Windows serial code than a human language to me ;) (No offense meant to native speakers of this language!)

I think its Hmong. But it would normally use characters not part of the Latin character set. When converted to just latin, it will look weird.

I immediately thought Hmong. But as Dan and I are both from the Twin Cities, where there are many Hmong, our giving the same answer doesn't really confirm anything.

Might be Hmong - I found in a doctor's office in Sacramento, along with Spanish, Russian and two obviously Asian versions.

Thanks everyone!

I just Googled the line of text, and several results referrencing Hmong came up. So I think that may be a safe guess.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
