A few AOS Questions

I have several questions about the AOS process so I am just going to throw it all out there. Any advice, help, links are GREATLY appreciated.

Regarding the Medical:

Do you just go to a civil surgeon and request the medical exam or is that something that is setup for you? Are the medical results get submitted with the AOS Packet?

Now the Affidavit of Support..

I havent filed taxes in the last 3 years. However, I have been claimed on my parent's tax returns (which explains why I havent filed). My father makes well over the 125% poverty line and we are living with him. He will gladly be a co-sponsor. My question is... I know I must still file an Affidavit of Support since I am the petitioner, but will the fact that I have no tax returns hurt me even if I have a co-sponsor? Outside of my Affidavit, my father fills out one as well?

Last question.. If the AOS is for a Mother and Child (13), is only 1 Affidavit needed or should there be one filled out for both of them?

Your first question is YES, you call around and schedule an appointment with a US CS.

You need to provide letter and documentation that you did not need to file returns.

Adjusting from VWP will subject you to additional questioning by USCIS, and a harder interview, there is a visa for people to enter the USA as a fiancee and marry, that is the K-1 visa. They will be probing to see if the intent when entering the USA on VWP was to marry an immigrate, if this was the case, you will be better off filing for a CR-1 visa (I-130)
