Has anyone had an interview in Kenya?

I was wondering if anyone has had an interview in Kenya and if so, if your fiancee got the visa on the same day or they had to come back. The reason I ask is my fiancee is from Uganda but he has to go to Kenya for his interview since the American Embassy in UG does not process K1 visas..
