yeah, I finally got my computer back...

It was hard to find the right card... :P

I finally ended up buying one from Fry's for about 10 bucks.. it is a Trendnet gigabit PCI adapter...

I even figured out how to install it... yeah me!!

but now I have to re-set up my computer because when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer, I did a reinstall of Windows.. :P

I hate reseting everything etc.. :P

* we have been having problems with our other computer too.... it has a hard time starting up.. we keep having to plug it out and try again... usually it will start up if you hold the reset button in for awhile after you press the power button.... I thought I had fixed the problem awhile back but a few months ago it started again...

this has nothing really to do with this topic but I didn't feel like starting a whole new thread :P

I bought this great cheap little HP printer a few weeks ago.. it rocks

it is a HP D1415...

my only problem with it is that I can't seem to find the ink levels and it doesn't seem to have any troubleshooting options, like alignment and cleaning etc....

I have searched the HP site but what it says to do to find the Ink levels etc, I can't seem to find on my computer.... I am wondering if it is because I am running Vista

Good job Marilyn! Woot!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
