Seriously, are people calling these guys liberals? If so, they need a dictionary.

The level of debate in this country is so childish sometimes its embarassing

You are expecting too much of the targeted audience, my friend. You and I and anyone else with at least half a brain left to think for themselves is not part of that audience. ;)

Well, aren't you a bit full of yourself? So, you and the few malcontents in this forum believe yourselve's to be somehow intellectually superior to those of us, the majority that think otherwise, to be in need of your guidance? :hehe:

Well, for the mathematically challenged: 32-35% job approval does not a majority make.

Besides, I have yet to see any substantial argument from your end in regards to what the White House does or fails to do. All you have done here thus far is hump Bush's leg like a horny dog regardless of what he does or doesn't do.

Tony Snow is a very well respected news person and will do a good job for Pres Bush. Bush doesn't need a spin doctor, only someone that will counter the liberal press and their strong-arm tacticts. Personally I have had enough of the main stream press and their liberal bias.

Its not about who's intellectually superior, its about basic honesty. Asking questions about government performance and accountability does not make you a traitor.

In any case I don't see you adding anything informative to the discussion other than throwing in cheap personal smears - incidentally the exact same strategy your beloved administration seems to favour when dealing with critics.

Are you perhaps related to Incanada in some way?

While I very much enjoy and appreciate this thread, tell me what the alternative is. Nancy Pelosi announced, announced last Dec, as the House Democratic Leader, that Democrates would simply decline to take a position on the Iraq war for the party's 2006 agenda. What the hell is that? A party that cannot take a postion on the most important issue of our time isn't a party that is ready to lead, in any sense-house,senate or presidency. They continue to be the party that stands for nothing. Please give me something better than "no comment" bs so they don't offend anyone.

One other thing---does anyone know where you can get voting history for Senators etc. That is what I really think should be publisized. I want to know how my representatives are voting. That will determine how I vote. It is too hush hush and this is my platform, but then I vote however the hell I want and along whatever party line. Show me the facts. That is what I want. Does anyone know where to find it--Both State and National would be great!! The voters deserve to be informed.

It is.

If you're not afraid of the effort to drill down into the actual voting record of your representatives (no make-up, no spin), the information is all out there to be had.

If you ever want to hear serious new reporting, and not read the drivel published in newspapers by reporters biased by their own views, usually with some kind of journelism degree but zero political saavy,,,,,I would suggest NPR radio. Cancel your newspaper and turn off the TV news.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

Seeing as this new press secretary has apparently criticised Bushco in the past for not being conservative enough - I'm curious as to what he will say. Scott McClellan was a douchebag - how much better / worse can this guy be ;-)

Yes, Ewen and I have started listening to Morning Edition on NPR every day--I think he likes hearing the BBC reporters who often do NPR coverage too.
