There is nothing wrong with honest criticizem. But that isn't the function of the news. The function of the news is to report what happend without injecting their opinion into it. That is called comentary and it has it's place also. But when you give comentary and call it news that is just wrong.

Newspapers, MSNBC, CNN (Clinton News Network) and the network news are all just mouthpieces of the DNC.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially considering that I don't quite understand why it was ok and not bad for the nation to attack Clinton (which I did not have a problem with either), but now it's not ok to attack Bush???

The function of the news is to also report on issues in which the president has fallen short of expectations. Criticism is and has always been part of good news reporting, even though we might have forgotten that in the last few years. MSNBC and CNN are nowhere near as critical as they should be and Fox News isn't even trying to do their job but exclusively selling their opinions as objective news.

Most papers I've seen lately haven't been very nice to the Democrats either, so while they might be attacking on the same lines as Democrats, they're not opportune enough to avoid criticism of the DNC.
