My husband and I have a joint bank account, I have a question about what to send in?

I went to my bank to get a statement saying that we share a checking account, the lady printed out a page stating that we have a checking account together and it has my information and everything on it but it doesn't have the Wachovia letter head on top, will this be acceptable? or do I need to go back and get another one with a letter head?

I would think you need a new one with the letterhead; but then again I am not sure.

Also it would be a good idea to send in copies of the statements, if you have any.

Nothing like this is required initial evidence when submitting the I-485... This would be items you take to the interview in the event you have one

If I were you, I'd go back and get a Wachovia letterhead. You never know!!!!

Yeah you need to get that information on the bank letter head. I sent in my letter in my initial packet, along with a few bank statements as well.

Normally one would simply include a copy of the monthly bank statement you get in the mail. If you just opened the account and don't have a statement yet, then it's really not evidence of much but at least get it on letterhead.
