Hello All,

I am currently in Egypt with my multiple Advanced Parole document(s). So I was wondering if going back to the USA from Egypt requires any kind of papers from the US consulate / embassy in Cairo or any kind of documents in order to show at Cairo airport on my departure or do I just show my Advanced Parol to them at the airport?

Any help and suggestions on this one, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

R.

I believe if your name on your passport is under your unmarried name while your name on the AP is on your married one, you will need to show them a copy of your marriage certificate upon departure and POE.

Thanks for your quick answer. But what's POE? I do have my unmarried name in my passport that's why I brought my marriage certificate with me since I have my last name changed to my husband's last name.

Thanks again.

POE = port of entry

The AP document is what you need to return.... One of the reasons this is done I presume is so you do not have to keep going to the consulate each time you travel

YMMV
