Yes, my stepsons were "to follow" and entered within one year after my wife received her K1 visa.. If the sub-office does not read mail then I asume that you mean to schedule an infopass appointment.

We will also be looking for attoney in Nashville..

Yes, I would make an appointment to go in and see them, rather than write. Time is of the essence here and you don't have much time to get this clarified. If your son "ages-out" then there is one hell of a nightmare to follow! Do what you can NOW to ensure it doesn't happen.
