Am a little confused with the I-751. My wife and 2 sons got their green cards July 12, 2006 so I will have to apply 90 days before this date according to the instructions which will be the middle of April. The fees are presently 465.00 + 80.00 for biometrics...... then it says 80.00 more for each resident dependent. That seems pretty clear but when I submitted for the original green cards, it was kind of the same but they wanted one form for each person and the fee for each plus biometrics........... anyone ever wonder why you have to pay 80.00 every time you have to go see them? Maybe it is to prove that you are the same person who came into their office the last time?

Anyhow......... anyone ran inot this before.......... I would appreciate any help?

March 2004 - She sent me a 5 min. video of her

April 2004 - Decided to Meet Her after seeing video

July 19 2004 - Trip to Russia for 8 days

July 29 2004 - Home from Russia

Aug 2 2004 - Sending in Package to NE

Aug 6 2004 - NOA1 date

Aug 11 2004 - NOA1 (got my number)

Nov 16 2004 - Received dreaded RFE (accidently sent copy instead of original of a page that had my signature on it.

Nov 18 2004- Nebr. received RFE

Feb. 2 2004- Nebr. promised that they would check status withing 30 days

Feb. 26 2004- received letter dated Feb 22, deneid pettition.

They say that the signatures I sent them back in November are also photocopied. They want 110 more dollars now to appeal there decision.

Feb. 26 2004- Busy writing letters to Senator to see if they can straighten out the mess but think they screw it up more than they help. Why else is this taking 8 months. So much for their help.

April 8, 2004 - Approved Appeal... get to start all over again

April 12, 2004 - Sent 27 pages of documentation to Senator for him to send letter to expedite the mess

April 19th, 2004-NOA2 arrived by email - Thank You Senator

April 22, 2004- NOA2 Sent to NVC

May 9, 2004- Got Our MOS# for Moscow

May 20, 2004- Package on it's way to Moscow

May 27, 2004- Found out Package left for Moscow on 20th

June 2, 2004 -Found out Interview will be Sept. 20th

June 8, 2004- Found out that someone likes us and moved our interview up to August 23rd ;-)

June 23rd........... Interview

Finally>>>>> 256 days- Nebraska FINALLY got it right.

ONLY 372 DAYS TO INTERVIEW
