Still NO Biometrics Notice

Well after getting the NOA1 letter on October 31st, we still have not gotten the Biometrics notice yet for my wife.. Here we are Feb. 7th and still nothing..... Phone calls to the 800 number have been a waste. I even made an info pass appt and went to the Atlanta office and was told that nothing on their system yet and I have to guess what... WAIT!!! I made an official case with the 800 number and got a letter several weeks later on the Dec. 21st from the CSC telling me that I am still within their "official time line" and I should wait.

I guess 'WAIT" is the golden key to these guys...

I have seen folks on this board that got their appt. well after we had done ours and got their biometrics notices done and out of the way.. And I know the centers are busy, but come on, this is just the biometrics.. Why is taking them so long to process this?

Should I start to worry about this??

As always thanks everyone for their feedback.

My advise to you: make an infopass appointment to inquire about the missing biometrics notice and/or try to do a walk-in biometrics.

In many cases this has worked and it wasn't a problem to do the biometricis without an appointment letter.

your wife's biometrics letter of appointment might have been lost....go ahead and do walk-in biometrics. most people got theirs a couple of days or weeks after NOA1...i received mine 2 weeks after my NOA. good luck!

Thanks for the feedback everyone.. So do you think they will allow us to do a walk-in biometric? is this allowed? Because when we went to the Atlanta office on December 31, I was told we had to wait for the CSC NOA2 letter to come.. if that is the case that is great news..

I know the waiting sucks but then I think back to when I was here waiting from Claudeth who was "there" so now the waiting for the decision on the GC isn't so bad after all.
