I love looking at the many spice racks available because they look so neat and organized BUT..........I have like quadruple the number of spices that need to fit into those racks. Granted maybe some of the spices I have can be tossed but guaranteed as soon as I chuck one in the garbage I'll need it for a recipe and have to go out and blow $5 on another jar of the stuff.

Do most of you only have like 16 or less spices? If not how do you organize them?

:help:

Our spice rack fits 40. If you need more than 16, get a bigger one.

40??? Where'd you get it????

And another problem I have is that the racks are shaped different than some of my spices. I have some that come in square containers, some in little round ones and others in big round ones.

Get the kind that comes with the glass containers and you can just transfer the spices.

I have a kitchen cabinet dedicated to all my spices

No spice rack for me

I would like to find one but I really don’t have much counter space - so I guess the cabinet will have to do

Oooh, I need a rack or something for up to 40 spices with all of the Indian cooking I do... Mine are all just shoved on a shelf and they are taking over!!!! Cuz it's not just spices, it's dried herbs too! So no, mine aren't organized at all and each cooking session becomes an adventure because the jar(s) I'm looking for are ALWAYS the ones in the back... argh!

Go to an Indian store, you'll probably find one that size.

This one looks like it'll do the trick and it's kind of cool looking but I can't help but think I can find it cheaper at a chemistry type store.

They have those nice ones with the air-tight tins that are suppose to keep 'em fresher. I'd love one, but I need more space too. For some things, I just grind my own spices...nice and fresh that way too...and one less jar. LOL
