I got a manicure & pedicure for my wedding, it was $30 + tip, that's in West Texas :)

Surely you can find some illegal immigrants in W. Texas that can do it for less than that?!!!

j/k!!! :P

I pay $25 for a manicure and pedicure combined. I live in Northern California where things are very expensive too. I also have paid close to the same thing in Houston and Chicago. They do a great job...no complaints at all

That's cheap as chips!!! :o

Don't forget the tip. This is America. :)

If I don't tip, what will they do? Put me on the manicure association black list?

I can guarantee you that if you keep going to the same place...even if you don't go to the same girl, that whole salon will know you're a non-tipper. Your manicures will be rushed, service will not be above and beyond...and the girl might even put SLOW DRY on your nails

trust me, I was a nail tech for years. LOL had that bottle of looked-great-but-was-thick-as-hell-quick-dry-that-would-dry-the-top-layer-but-you'd-smudge-an-hour-later always handy for those types of customers :)

And when they would come back? OOOPS! sorry I'm booked! but you can pay one of the other girls to do a polish change?

I told Mich the story of getting my acrylics on...the guy cut the first nail (with me telling him where to stop the clipper) then he cut the next three....all much shorter than the first one. I say 'hang on, those are wayyyy shorter!' he stops, checks them out, CUTS THE FIRST ONE TO MATCH THEM and says 'no they're not'

azzhat!

But don't get me started on the drycleaning lady!
