threads marked as read

i've noticed over the past few days that threads i've read frequently turn into threads that i have not read (denoted by the bright folder instead of grayed out version). i've had to use mark all threads as read almost a dozen times in the past 2 days. what's up with that, ewok?

eta: this occurs mostly in ot and on both the work and home computer.

*chatty tone* Yes, I changed my name, Mags! I was feeling bored with the last one and thought this one might be more fun. Yet I feel a bit unsure of it at the moment. I've had good and bad reviews. When I see it I think "Who's that?"! *whipsers* I may need to ask the Captain to change it back for me.
