Lets rename this the cuteness thread. Jackie's got her cute new Katie Holmes 'do and sara's baby is, well too cute for her own good. She's the MENA Gerber baby LOL.

I could sleep for a week. Hubby took me to my last OB appointment today, but failed to convince the doc to take the baby early. Doc says no more nookie tho, :(

Hubby took me out to lunch, where I became quite the spectacle. The cashier asked me "Ma'am when are you due? Yesterday?" . After madly devouring a BBQ sandwich and potato bigger than my own head, hubby brought me home and tucked me in for a nap. Part of me is posting, part of me is still sleeping.

A productive day.

 Do you even want to??? I'm only 3 months along and I sleep with a butcher's knife under my pillow now.:lol::lol: j/k

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

We're a naughty pair.

We were discussing this new directive while waiting in line at the checkout, although in hushed tones. I asked if he was going to survive and he grinned "Yes I have my friend" and held up five fingers. Oy.

Some women are more inclined during this time, others cant stand it. Given the behavior that got us in this situation in the first place, Im not surprised its 'gone the distance'.

'Least I dont have to worry about shaving my legs for awhile now

Well I envy you. The first 3 months of this pregnancy have been rather hellish but I'm sure if I compare it to someone else who has had it worse than me then it won't seem so bad. For me by far the 2 hardest things have been clothes and food. I haven't craved anytihng its been quite the opposite. I've had pretty bad morning sickness and no desire to eat most foods including all forms of meat, poultry, and seafood.

Clothes, I HATE maternity clothes. HATE HATE HATE. So basically at 3 months, I don't feel pregnant, I just feel fat. And I hate ALL my clothes, even the new ones. I'm umcomfy, I've got this sciatic nerve thingy thats pretty darn painful. So I think that may be why S-E-X is the last thing on my mind.

Happy Thursday MENA! My Friday this week! WoooooT it doesn't get better than this!!!!!!

Sara, I've decided that you are evil and therefore must be destroyed. Nobody should be allowed to have that much cuteness in 1 household at any given time of the day/night and YOU, my friend, have it 24/7 and quite honestly...ITS NOT FAIR... I wanna "coochie coo" the screen every time I see pix of that baby. *sigh* easy amal....u'll get one in due time...

Jax, ur hair totally rules! I have been contemplating cutting and styling mine but I am afraid to do it. I think I look like a fugly bowling pin with short hair... or one of those weebles (remember those...weebles wabble but they don't fall down)

Still playing with Aunt Flo. She has been here for a full week now and still packin a punch. She can vacate the premesis aaaaaaaany time and I won't hesitate to pack her bags for her and politely kick her in the butt on the way out the door!!!

Have a fantastic evening y'all!!!

I feel ya. Those first 3 months were torture at times. I was ALWAYS sick. Morning, noon, night. Every smell, every sight, every gross thought and I was instantly head-first in the can. I spent half the work day in the restroom. I didnt start craving stuff until about 4 months. Before that EVERYTHING was eeeeeeevil. Foods I used to love and get comfort from were instantly awful. I never knew what to shop for, if I could stand looking at groceries at all, because nothing sounded good. I do remember drinking alot of iced fruit juice and drinkable yogurt. Those have been staples throughout the pregnancy and seem to bode well with the tum.

I was anxious to start wearing maternity clothes, and I didnt have too much trouble finding things I liked. But I understand being in pain. I have spondylolisthesis (vertebrae slip down over each other) and up until I got pregnant I was getting these lovely spinal nerve blocks every 3 weeks and popping Hydrocodone 10 3x a day. Its no fun to go from tolerable pain/moderate relief to zero relief in a matter of days. You're probably already doing the same stuff I am to stave off the leg pain, but if you havent tried it (and your doc okays it) make friends with a heating pad and ice pack. My OB allows me to have short visits with a heating pad on low, once or twice a day. Long enough to soothe a little, but not long enough to raise my temp. The ice pack I can use anytime I want, as long as I want and it does help relieve some of the swelling, which takes a little pressure off those poor irritated nerves. If your back can handle it, try laying down flat and putting your legs up over a box, sofa, or chair. Arrange yourself like you are sitting in a chair while laying down. Ive found this helps take alot of pressure off my L-spine (for a short time) and thusly the sciatic nerve.

As for the horizontal polka, we've learned to be rather creative. TBH I had no idea things would be more fun :) But thats just me. Im sure its not the same for all women.

Hopefully you'll be past the icky phase soon. When I hit 18-20 weeks I felt like a new woman. I actually had some energy for a few weeks and settled nicely into the happy pregnant woman role. Food was good again, clothes fit right, mood leveled out, etc. The 3rd trimester has been a little hard, but knowing you're on the home stretch does ease the mind a little.
