I believe our case was "touched" 2/28. I could see our case online the day I received the notice, so I don't think it was just the date entered into the system!

2/13/08 - Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

2/16/08 - Delivery Confirmed

2/22/08 - NOA Receipt Date

2/26/08 - NOA Hard Copy arrived in the mail

2/28/08 - Touched

hey adding the time line at the bottom is really easy. in the upper right hand corner of the page it says "my controls" click that and then under "personal profile" click "edit signature" and thats it. good luck

Hey febfiller,

I filed on Feb 8 but only got a receipt (?) can you tell me what your NOA looks like? I'm living in Morocco with my husband until he gets his visa so my mom is acting as my secretary and watching the mailbox. Still no NOA for me yet, do you recommend calling or should I wait more? Thanks.

OK April... this is what I am gathering from everything i've read. It looks like you will get a "reciept" than a "NOA1" that is a "notice of acceptance" meaning just what it says. I am with you on this but have filled our I-130 3 months later than you and honestly am freaking cause you haven't recieved that yet.. Did you pay by check perhaps you can see if they've cashed the check? Not sure if I am correct in all of this but hope i've helped some.

I'm starting to freak out!!! VSC has not changed their processing times! but I'm hoping that I get approved by the end of may or maybe June, may God bless all of you and give us strength to overcome this hard and cruel times separated of our love ones.

I believe end of Jul. is more realistic in the present situation. Perhaps VSC will improve though, you never know. Everything is possible with them!

Hey Sand,

How do you know that your case has been "touched"? I registered my case online at USCIS so where would it say that my case has been touched? Though it's still early I think, I filed Feb. 8 and got my NOA Feb. 20 and then waiting since then. Thanks!

Hey guys,

I answered my own question and found out that my case got touched on February 26!! Has anyone else had their case touched yet? Also for the CSC people they updated their times from Aug. 17 2007 to November 17, 2007! We're moving along!

Don't give up hope....my case was approved in the middle of May along with about 7 other February filers. Hoping for the end of May or June isn't hoping for too much at all =)
