Submitted to VFS

We submitted everything to the New Delhi VFS. When we submitted all the support letters, emails, photos, party list(attendees) etc etc. The guy said it was overkill, but my fiance explained the past and that we want to make sure there is no doubt. He was very nice and said ok.. and handwrote a complete receipt detailing all the items. In Jalandhar last time, the lady there only took some of the items(standard checklist).

My fiance is not nervous.. but scared.. so am I ,.. i guess its natural..

I have just submitted packet 4 yesterday in New Delhi. The only originals that they needed were Birth certificate and PCC rest of them they verified the certified copies, pretty much they took every thing including all the evidence, pictures etc. The guy asked for address and tel to send the visa by corrier!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a tip for New Delhi: DS-156 and DS-230 must be hand written without a barcode, any one who has the pre printed forms they may ask you to change so be prepared.

Goood you submitted everything... i wanted to submit it too but the VFS guy was acting too smart with me and told me that you can bring all the evidence supporting your relationship at the time of the interview...... BUT BUT ... the consular officer didnt even see all the stufff i was carrying... instead i was handed out a 221 g ... which was ridiculous...... so its bettter to load alll the paperword mentioned in the checklist we receive we get with the interview letter.

MY fiance had both handwritten and computer generated, they took the computer generated.. I will tell her to keep the handwritten as backup at the interview...

It's good idea... My fiance has submitted both computer generated and hand written.
