VSC: NOA2 to NVC

It did get touched. I called and the system said that they had not received my petition yet. That was about 8 hours ago. I just got home and found a letter from NVC in my mailbox. I guess it would be too much to expect the phone systems to have up to date information.

P.S. - The letter from NVC is dated February 1, 2008.

Your package may already hit to Vancouver (Embassy or consulate). I check DHL's website and found out from Feb 1 to Feb 6, there are 2 packages sent to Canada, 1 to Montreal, other to Vancouver "I think this is your". I spoke to NVC lady 2 days ago about my package. She said, " the package is usually ship to consulate before they send letter out.", How about you send email/call Embassy or Consulate tomorrow. All the best to you.

I tried it too.....and was sitting there with my mouth hanging open.....unbeleiveable.......one petition left for Lima, Peru on the 8th just like the NVC customer serice person said it would.....wow what a difference in this agency from USCIS.........anyway...thanks for the info.......it made my weekend

I think maybe I'm ridiculous cause I couldn't get this to work for me! I can see the ones from January 31st but nothing from February. I'm sure there have been packages sent in February! Somebody help!

Your time-line is very detailed, but has one missing part that I am really intersted in, when was the packet 3 delievered?

They have sent packages since the 1st of February...Make sure to change the date range...See if that helps..

I tried that. I'm sure my case hasn't left yet, probably, but it would be nice to see. I don't know why I can't get it. I've tried to change the letter after the year as well and that doesn't seem to work either! Who knows?!

That's weird.... I can see about 60 packets sent every day... Just in case, try here:

And put "EXP 07 FEB 2008A" into the Reference field. You'll see 48 search result. Hope it works!

I'm a dum-dum! I forgot to put the 0 in front of the 07! ~giggles~ OMG how silly is that! Thanks for the help! I keep forgetting that if there's only a single digit date you've got to put a zero in front of it!

Thanks. I got Lindsay to go ahead and fill out DS-230, so that she can fax it with the checklist as soon as she gets the packet. I hear that the Vancouver embassy is pretty quick about setting up interviews. We're going to request ASAP.

My fiance is from Vancouver area and we are watching your progress...our approval was feb. 6 and we got another touch on the 7th...I am thinking that

it was the application being forwarded to the NVC center...keep us all posted on how quickly you get your packets and medical and interview...

Finally I could get a hold of "live" operator at NVC and found out our packet was already forwarded to Tokyo on 4th!

But she didn't know when it was arrived at NVC... hmm.... well, I don't care as long as they proceeded.

It also turned out that my fiance received snail mail from NVC saying they received our petition and would proceed within 1 week. I didn't know this process, so it's a nice surprise to me. What a kind bureau NVC is, not like VSC The letter was dated on 4th, the same day they forwarded the packet.

That DHL tracker says the packet was delivered to Tokyo on 7th.... I have to graduate this topic??

I called NVC yetserday and asked regarding my application and they said it was sent yesterday so did the whole dhl tracking reference deal and my package was there so I ve been tracking it since ...

My Fiance told me to stop checking that when he gets it he gets it ha ha I think Im stressing him out cause I want him to have everything ready already !!
