Well someone else may have more recent experience than we and might pop in to correct me. Im kinda hoping that's the case, because I know it has to be a pain to travel all over the place just for one piece of paper. Ahmed had it easy because he lived in the same town all his life. He also was a mere hour's train ride from the consulate.

Oh my! I just read your signature carefully!

You're due soon! Congratulations and good luck!! (F)

And thanks again for the input,

hz

Thanks. And good luck on the visa!

Hi Everybody,

Thanks so much for your responses. We will get a jumpstart on the papers.

I've been reading about this "AP thing" all morning, and it is very scary. I don't remember

reading about that when we were deciding what visa to apply for last spring...

Good luck to everyone!

Seems like we all need it,

hz

I wouldnt fret too much about AP right now. Everyone goes through it. Some have a short easy time, others a long wait. But if you do your best and provide everything they ask for, then thats the best you can do. We'll be here to help support you through the wait. :)

Salaam all,

Happy Hump Day.

Here's an ambitious question:

Is there any way to find out when the consulate sends out your Packet 3? Can you call DOS or e-mail the Consulate?

Not that ours has been even touched yet, but i'm just wondering...

Thanks and good luck to us all,

hz
