I have few questions regarding proofs of ongoing relationship between me and fiance which I am preparing for my interview this March. We have about 3 years of chat logs (we talk online almost everyday) and I plan to print out one day per month since the time we met online. Is this necessary or I'll just print out chat logs in random within the time period of our relationship?Same with emails and e-cards that we exchanged to each other over the past 3 years, we have plenty of them. I want to know your suggestions on how to do it. I am worrying about carrying alot of documents with me during the interview that may be unnecessary but at the same time I want to make sure that I carry enough proof.:mellow:

Sounds like a good plan to me. I'm probably going to have a few from each month of chat (which has been about a year). The most important chats will be from your sent date to your interview to show that you still have been communicating and have an "ongoing" relationship since you started the process.

Joe and I started chatting October 2006 and he visited me February 2007 so I printed one chat per month from March 2007 until the interview, and I only chose the shortest chat so it was not bulky. I also printed one email per month and took like 10 screenchats especially those that included his children. In the interview, neither the prescreener nor the consul asked for them.

my husband and i started chatting and emailing each other wayback march 2005. when he filed the K1-129 application he included plentiful printouts of our email correspondences and everyday chatlogs. he even included couple of cd's of our chats (most of our chats lasted 12-14 hours almost everyday) so if he will print it out it will be 20-25 pages.

during my interview i brought along printed emails ( 2-3 emails/week), chatlogs ( 2-3/week), ecards, snail mails, postmarked cards, phone bills and phone cards (hundreds of them smart/globe/pldt budget cards). i brought everything that i can think of that will satsify the CO of how genuine our relationship was. so you can imagine how loaded i was during that time :D

but to my dismay, nothing were asked by the prescreener nor the consul. the prescreener just asked for my BC, my kid's BC, CENOMAR, affidavit of support, husband's 2006 W2 and tax returns. i even offered other documents that i have but he said that i had enough. so that's it! anyway, just bring all necessary documents that you have in case they will ask you for it. you will never know what they would want from you. it's better to be prepared! and of course, don't forget to PRAY!

GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!

From all the IR-CR Interview experience I have been seeing..

The bottom line is..

PICTURES ARE A MUST!!

That's it.. Seems like they don't ask for anymore Documents.. Like CEMAR, NBI, Police Clearance..

Well duh.. :bummer: We already submitted them to NVC..

i printed screenshot of us talking thru msn messenger that indicated the time, date and of course with our faces on it. I attached to it the printed conversation but not all (5 pages the most). I just had the first and the latest chats...e.g july2005, feb, mar, april and may 2006 (just one per month).

I prepared a lot but this proof wasn't asked from me, only the pictures(1st meeting) and then emails.

Thank you guys for sharing those info. I know better what to do now.

I agree with roserick!

just have your pictures your web chats thru the option on your keyboard "Printscreen" then paste it on your windows 'Paint' accesory.

that's what i did....

during my interview, all they asked from me are pictures...i thnk all they need to establish is that you have met in person and that you're really a couple...
