Taking Fingerprints after Interview

Hello all. My wife just had her interview couple of days ago, but they asked her to bring in more proof, in the form of phone records showing that we have been communicating. Once she turned those in, they took her fingerprints and told her to come back in exactly 2 weeks. I hope that at that time they are ready to issue the Visa - ? BTW this is for Embassy in Syria, CR-1 Visa Petition.

Does anyone know, once they take your fingerprints, what does that mean? Is that an indication that they will be giving the Visa, or can we expect more complications before they issue her a Visa?

Please anyone if you have any info or advise on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.
