crazy kids (esp. Len and Mumsie)

We got married in Truth or Consequences, NM then went and camped at White Sands and Carlsbad Caverns. I only had a few days off from school so we couldn't really do much more than that. Someday we may take a real honeymoon

and yes we got married in T or C so that would be on our marriage cert. cause it's funny

NM is a beautiful state. Not the part near Las Cruces with all the cattle, unless you like the smell of methane. Carlsbad Caverns is beautiful, especially the bat flight. Nothing like starting off your marriage by being pooped on by flying rodents. Prepares you for a life with the inlaws.

Yeah..maybe one day my husband and I can go on a honeymoon (after 15 months of marriage)!!! After we were married (when we were sofa king retarded), we thought yah..let's just drive to Texas from B.C. for our honeymoon. They won't care if you are married without paperwork at the border!! We were going to take the scenic route...go down the Oregon Coast...then the redwood forest, then VEGAS, then the grand canyon and then home to Texas.

Let's just say THAT never happened. It's kinda funny these days talking about how stupid we were. Luckily our hotels were refundable. My husband got fabulous advice (yeah right) from his hockey buddies who came down south after they were married to stay. Except they left out one key ingredient, DON'T DRIVE DOWN TOGETHER!!!

Oh well..

hindsight is 20/20, hey?

Too bad it really sounded wonderful. :crying: Sofa king retarded? That's a bit harsh. To paraphrase Shakespeare, "the fault, dear lady, lies not in our stars but in the Sofa king retards at the border." Here's some more Shakespeare, from that play that won't end, Bush the Second, "he has come to open the purple testament of bleeding stupidity."

You left out the "I'm a bottom," commemorative tote bag and the "I didn't miss out on the make up sodomy," drinking mug. That's not all, included is one Amber Frey, "who's my baby daddy home DNA kit," and fictitious fishing tackle from the Scott Peterson incredibly weak alibi collection. They'll also be given one seven course meal and one night accommodation as well as Sy N. Ide, the last air freshener they'll ever need. Sy N. Ide, a not-my family company. All Courtesy of the People of the State of California.

They give mugs now????????????????? Damn, things have improved considerably.

I cannot possibly top your last post brother, so I concede victory this once.

The Queen is dead. Say it ain't so!!! Don't feel bad, you were pretty damn close and I had to work for it. *briefly considers sending out a big cyber hug but wonders if she'll accuse him of trying to get close enough to hump her  *

I am nothing if not magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat. No, I'm not, I have a hissy fit if I lose.

Thanks everyone :)

We like camping, we love nature and art.

Not too into the beach (I love it but Nick's not a huge fan) I don't mind not going to the beach this time ;)

We enjoy sightseeing.

I think a secluded, intimate place would be so awesome.

I thank you all for your suggestions! :)

Mike and I are going to San Francisco.

Nothing says lovin like Alcatraz.

Laura, instead of everyone here guessing at what you and your husband may or may not enjoy as a honeymoon, why don't you tell us what you two find appealing in a vacation spot? That might narrow down the locations, allowing us to greater assist you. :)

I agree! Let us know what activities you enjoy and what you want to DO on your honeymoon. Are you into historical architecture? Do you like lazing on a beach? What time of year are you planning a wedding? So much depends on what you guys like to do, and what kind of climate you want to be in.

:o Carla! You perve!!!

Brother, this is the US: different rules apply. Which doesn't mean I don't support Laura and Nick's right to chase one another wearing roller blades, chicken outfits, the coffee grinder and scuba gear

Shoot, there go our plans.

Sounds like Grand Canyon would be good for guys or I've heard that Jackson Hole Wyoming is really nice. Same with Arizona.

San Francisco is definitely a must see, so if you haven't been there, I totally suggest it. You could also go to Napa Valley/Sonoma or Lake Tahoe.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

tough if you are nice and contribute to my sainthood campaign, I could perhaps arrange for a special honeymoon performance by the "Whodunnit Divas" currently housed with Paul Bernardo @ Kingston penitentiary: rumour has it they are divine.
