I don't know why all of a sudden I feel so nervous about my husband interview. Maybe because I don't know what they will ask him. I can't even take the time off to be there for his interview. So many different emotions are running thru my head right now.

anyone that has went thru the process is the interview questions hard in Kingston?

Deniese,

Don't fret! The interview was easy. Please read my review. Since you filed for a CR-1 visa, they probably will not ask for a lot of the documents that K-1 & K-3 filers have to bring. At any rate, give your husband copies of all pertinent information (e.g. financial info, wedding & informal pictures). I have a check list that I made to double check every thing. Let me know if you would like a copy.

In the mean time, be sure to have your husband make an appointment for his medical. There are three Jamaican physicans that the Embassy uses.

Here is the link for more information-

Also, be sure that your husband has the blue version of his birth certificate & a police certificate.

You have total support from the Yardie thread! Let us know if you have any additional questions/concerns.

Take care,

Congrats Dimples :dancing: I know you are relieved to be one step closer to hubby being here. Here is a list of questions that one of the yardies put up 6 months ago. It helped me and hubby prepare for the interview. It is just little tips for the interview. Also, in my embassy review, I put a list of questions that they asked me...All the best to you!

It's always good to bring copies of the documents just in case anything is misplaced. You should be fine though; they had all our documents when we went for the interview. Since your interview is in March, remember to take copies of your tax returns for 2007 or your W2s.

I tend to think that they try to print the IR1/CR1 visas a little quicker than the K1 visas. It took less than a week for hubby to get his and I know of at least one other Jamaican couple who got theirs within a week. You may want to see if there are any recent IR1/CR1 applicants who just went through Kingston to see how long it took for them to get their visa. So happy for you!!! :dancing:

FYI - You may see some questions on there that pertain to K1, but in general a good number of the questions will give you an idea of what is asked.

only thing I am going to send him is a copy of my 2007 W2's, current job letter, recent bank print out (there's nothing in there...lol), marriage & birth certificates.

Do you think that i should have my husband get another copy of police certificate since I did send both certficate rcv'd to NVC?

I wouldn't worry about it. What you are sending with him is sufficient enough.

We are here to help and support (L)

mr jengles had the interview the day after i had the baby and called me and 3:30am while i'm in the hospital resting after having his baby to clarify some of my answers. I was and still am VEX about that. but the lady grilled him, but keep in mind that all they have is the info from the ds-320 I think its. The bio form, so if you still have a copy of that and can review it with him, then u are straight.
