HI Vj'ers

I have another question. My fiance had his interview 6 days ago and they gave him 221(g) They wish to see both him and i, they requested i schedule an appointment and i have, but my question is... Our petition approval notice will expire Feb 24, 2008. Will i have to file for an extention, or will they allow it without the extention since he has had the inital interview.

I'm wooried that they might scedule the second interview AFTER the petition expires. And they will tell us to refile the petition again

The consulate normally can and does automatically extend your petition. After the interview, they may choose to let it expire if you clearly don't meet the requirements.

May I ask why you have to go to the interview with your fiancee? From what I've read, most wouldn't be able to attend the interview if they wanted to.

Because i have been here almost 11 months, mostly she wants to see if im alright here.That's what she told my fiance.

I have read alot where they ask for both people, depends on the cases. They are doing it more now than before. Both of my (2) friends also had to go with their fiances to the second interview.
