I'm little confused about the Vaild for work only SSN.

When you have a SSN with "Vaild for work only....", can you still apply for health insurance, life insurance or driver's lisence?

12/19/07 -- Biometric Appt.

12/29/07 -- REF sent

01/04/08 -- AOS touched / REF received

01/27/08 -- EAD card production ordered

01/29/08 -- EAD Approval notice sent

01/31/08 -- EAD received in mail! (65 days)

02/04/08 -- Received Interview notice

03/19/08 -- Interview at Garden City, NY

03/26/08 -- Email from CRIS * APPROVED * (124 days)

03/31/08 -- Received "Welcome letter" in the mail

03/31/08 -- Email from CRIS "Card Production Order"

04/04/08 -- Email from CRIS "Approval notice sent"

04/09/08 -- Received GC in the mail!!

What it says is "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" Means you need DHS authorization to work... no other restrictions apply
