Well, my husband and I arrived back from our drive to Canada (25 hours) and my RFE had arrived in the mail yesterday according to our house sitter. It didn't request anything specific, just more "stuff" to prove the legitimacy of our marriage.

As for the border crossing, I don't even think the border guard even looked at the actual stamp I received at my last INFOPASS appointment. He swiped my passport, asked where we'd been, where we were going, and what type of items I had piled to the ceiling in the back of my truck (which are things I'd left behind in Canada when I first moved to Texas). The questioning may have taken 2 minutes at the most and we were through. So much stress over nothing! But I'm thankful it wasn't an issue.

I guess this week I'll focus on getting our RFE stuff together. The notice said that they would make a decision within 60 days of receipt of the additional information.

Good luck to all those still waiting! I'm pulling for you to have good news this coming week! =O)

Yes, at least you had some kind of movement.... although I will be piss off if they request from us more evidence!!!!! What else they want!!!!!!!!????? I waited enough time... give me the card!!! Lets see how we all doing this morning.... it is already 10 am eastern time... does not look promising.... :(:angry:

01/31/2008 Transfer to Vermont Service Center (after almost 8 months!)

02/22/2008 This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

02/26/2008 This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred. (Last Touched)

07/01/2008 : still waiting for a miracle after 390 days of suffering....

07/02/2008: Infopass Appointment. passport Stamp....

07/03/2008: Incredible!!!! Card Production Ordered!!!!!!

07/04/2008: Touched. Duplicate email Card Production Order

07/07/2008: Touched

Do we really expect to get anything out of VSC at this point? They seem to have stopped working for the summer. Interestign to see CSC approving filers from March! We were transferred 2 months before that, already being between 12 and 6 months old. This is getting more absurd by the minute!

I am waiting until my anniversary which is June 7 (NOA) after that I am contacting the Senators… I am sick of this!!! Seriously sick... this process makes me wish I would stay with no papers!! hihih! LOL... I would have fewer worries.... My husband is sick of this!!!!!

8/20/08 -------> Mailed N-400 to TSC

8/21/08 -------> N-400 rec'd by TSC @ 10:42 am signed for by C Maxa

We sent I-751 to TSC in early March of 2007 as the two year anniversary was May 26, 2007. Did biometrics on April 24, 2007, got letter in February 2008 saying it was transferred to VSC and nothing since then. As the one year extension was getting close to running out, made INFOPASS appointment on May 16, 2007 and got passport stamped for six month extension. Officer said to come back in November if we didn't receive GC by then for another six month extension. Is a six month extension customary when you get passport stamped?

Got one email at 8 am. I checked onlines tatus and my daughters case is approved too.

party time! I got home about 30 minutes ago from my daughter's school and found the email. Had to call DH first.

Thank you all for your support and good luck. I will still be around.

Congratulations Smartie!!! Finally it seems they're about to move on
