Just called USCIS. I asked why i have to take the second biometrics but the teller said she can not access my case in more detail. She said i should wait 60days from the second biometrics date, If I don't get any touched from them then she will access my case in further. I can get all of her answer form USCIS website. Anybody have some idea if i want to ask them whether they got my second biometrics or not because they did not notice me anything?

AOS from F-1 Timeline

(based on marriage to USC)

2010-06-16 Send I-130 and I-485 packages

2010-06-17 arrived at Chicago lockbox (express mail service was quick, it took less than a day)

2010-06-24 Checks cashed

2010-06-26 Received NOAs for 1-130, I-485 and I-765 (EAD)

2010-07-09 I-130, I-765 touched

2010-07-23 Call USCIS to request Bio. letter. Gotta wait in 45 days for another call

2010-08-18 EAD touched

2010-09-03 Biometrics letter received. Scheduled on 09/13/2010

2010-09-07 Successful walk-in biometrics

2010-09-07 EAD card production order. I-485 touch <-- 8 hours after biometrics done

2010-09-08 I-485, EAD touched

2010-09-16 EAD card and interview letter scheduled on Oct 18 received.

2010-10-18 interview- Got RFE-RFE sent same day!

2010-10-22 GC production notice received!<-- Application approved!!!

2010-11-01 GC received, See USCIS again in next 2 years!

Congrats James! I thought you would hear something today.

I would have thought so, too, since everybody has gotten the card in a week's time or less; but I thought that maybe VSC had decided to slow down in actually sending out cards in addition to slowing down with approvals, and I just happened to be the first example of that. Glad that is not the case. Also glad because my wife is leaving for Colombia with the kids in two weeks -- this was cutting it close!

I look at my email like a maniac.... on May we only had 4 approvals.... I dont know if I will get approved next month..... this is driving me nuts! :angry:

09/??/2004 Send I-130, 486 Package and ETC. for AOS

01/??/05 Workers permit received.

Got Social Security Card!!!

08/29/2005 Interview went awesome!

09/??/2005 Green Card arrived!!!!!!!! YUPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Removal of Conditions:

06/01/2007 Send package to TEXAS Service Center

06/07/2007 Received NOA

09/20/2007 Went to get an stamp, denied stamp at the Miami USCIS Office =(

01/31/2008 Transfer to Vermont Service Center (after almost 8 months!)

02/22/2008 This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

02/26/2008 This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred. (Last Touched)

07/01/2008 : still waiting for a miracle after 390 days of suffering....

07/02/2008: Infopass Appointment. passport Stamp....

07/03/2008: Incredible!!!! Card Production Ordered!!!!!!

07/04/2008: Touched. Duplicate email Card Production Order

07/07/2008: Touched

07/08/2008: Touched. Email with notice of approval

07/09/2008: Touched again!

07/11/2008: CARD ARRIVES IN MAIL!!!!! THANKS!!!! WELLCOME IMMIGRANT LETTER!!! :P

maybe.... since they had a long weekend they will speed up this week???? maybe just maybe they feel like working at Vermont this week....

Thanks, all. Yes, jsouthwick, Karnak did call it -- kind of, heh heh. At this point, it's not the fact of approval that's important but getting the freakin' card since travel plans are set for about three weeks from now. Oh, well, at least we have the stamp. I hope that's not a problem when Claudia reenters the country with just the stamp and they look up in the computer and ask her where the green card she was issued is. Probably not, but who knows . . . .

Karnak predicts Smartie around the 26th of May, BBrudi and Cassie June 3rd, BBan 6/26 & Imailin Juy 1.

Past even that date! Can I get a new one? Karnak predicted me a holiday. :wacko:

Sorry Smartie, Karnak did not take into account Memorial day holiday which obviously slowed things down. Keep your fingers crossed for today, because Tuesday is the day we received our notice if memory serves me correctly. Best of luck!

This morning my husband looked at me and said : this week we are getting your Green card....

it sounded sooooo unreal that I just told him.... I wish!!!!!

It is sad.... after almost a year still waiting for this p&*(&*& of Sh^&*IT!!!!

Hi Imalin, I'm also feel stressed about this "delay", but I do tell my self that I'm done with approx 95% of the waiting time so far,,, sure we will see our approvals shortly,,
