I'm bummed that James hasn't gotten approved yet although it's nice to see everyone else get take care of. There may be something to the alphabetical order idea. My wife's last name starts with O.

Thanks, bro -- it'll come. I probably just have the same guy who adjudicated Tweety's petition:

Did you notice that Texas is processing petitions from June 30th? Now that's a slap across the face.

We should get this law passed: Any immigration application that is not adjudicated within 1 year should receive a full refund of all fees. And then, every year that passes where the case still isn't adjudicated, another payment equal to application amount should be given(Of course, applications with a predetermined quota would obviously be exempt). I saw some applications still waiting for adjudication that go back to 2001!!

Texas doesn't HAVE any petitions from June 30! That's the date it started transferring all newly filed petitions to CSC.

I suspect this is what caused those '07 TSC cases to be transferred :

SCOPS liaison has confirmed that the service centers are conducting "sweeps" to find adjustment of status cases that can be reviewed for adjudication under the changes in background check procedures announced by USCIS on February 4, 2008. AILA Doc. No. 08021366.
