I got transferred here in march and i know other people got transferred even later. youre freaking out too much girlfriend (or boyfriend?). i dont think you should get an infopass appointment since there seems to be nothing wrong other than you being nervous. it just takes patience!

No news yet on my end--and my anxiety level is growing. Do you think there is a reason that some people got the transfer date on Feb. 22 instead of Feb. 13? Has anyone from the second group gotten an RFE or interview notice? I'm just wondering if there was some reason why we were divided into two groups.

Our check was cashed for our N-400 application, but I'm thinking about making an Infopass appt if we don't hear about the I-751 by the end of the month. Has anyone done this?

I know, it's just that they screwed us over so much with the AOS that I don't trust them at all.....they lost our documents, lost our biometrics, and sent the card to the wrong address.....!!!!!

NOBODY today? I suppose this means we'll have to wait until Friday, seeing as VSC hasn't been sending out approvals on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Heh, I just hope that's not the smell of the exhaust pipes as everyone runs over me. Actually, there are only three with later NOA1s that have been approved before me, so that's not so bad. I predict this coming Monday -- a year and a day after my NOA1 date.

Just an update:

My husband received his 10 yr green card today. No errors thus far but I will keep looking over it a few more times to make doubly sure. We haven't received the approval notice in the snail mail yet.

James, I am waiting to see your post that you received the approval email.

I'm on that list also.

I filed on March 20th 2007 and still waiting for approval at VSC.

mine was transfered from TSC to VSC Jan 31st 2008 and last touched was 2/25/2008.

Do you its time now for us to get approved or still have to wait ?

I'm about to apply for N-400 and still confuse about it.

And yes you were on the list -- we (ok, "I") bumped you and a couple of others off when you didn't check in after getting the two transfer and received notices in February and a members check revealed you hadn't been around in a few months. On April 10th, the USCIS online status said "Card Ordered to be Produced, contact us in 30 days if you dont get the card", just like yours.

But! Now the online USCIS has changed to "Approval Notice Sent", because we got an approval notice yesterday.

For God's sake, I WISH I had taken a screen shot of that "card ordered" page, because now I have no proof it was ordered. I just called the USCIS customer service line and they said they cant go back and check previous updates.

I have a bad feeling the USCIS made a mistake in telling me my card was ordered.

Has anyone else gotten an update of "card ordered", but never actually gotten the card? Sounds odd, but this IS the USCIS were talking about. They seem to derive great pleasure from yanking our collective chain.

May 27, 2009: N-400 Window Opens

June 2, 2008: N-400 Sent

June 3, 2008: N-400 Received at Nebraska Service Center

June 13, 2008: NOA1

June 16, 2008: Biometrics letter

June 24th, 2008: Biometrics Appointment

July 7th, 2008: Called FBI, verified that biometrics check has been completed and returned to USCIS

August 26th, 2008: N-400 Interview Passed

September 18th, 2008: Swearing in, Billings Montana

Send Expedited 14-day passport paperwork???

You should be receiving the card soon. When we got my husband's notice from the CRIS emails this is what the two emails said:

Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED Current Status: Card production ordered.

On December 3, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On December 7, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

We received his GC on December 8, 2007. From our experience and based on email timeframes, your application has been approved and your greencard is on the way.

Hi,

I got Card Production ordered email, on April 10th and got same email on April 11th.

On April 15th another email saying that "Approval notice sent". This is my current status, but i am hoping the card in mail any time.

I've had the same thing happening - change from card production ordered to approval notice sent.

As others have pointed out, it probably means the card is on the way! :star:
