Old TSC cases transferred to VSC

odd, i got another email from uscis - at 914am central today - it says the EXACT same thing as the one i got yesterday...their notifications must be spinning off duplicates - or they just ordered us two cards and didn't realize. haha.

not sure - but anyone else get two emails?

good, now hopefully we don't get 2 cards. that would be quite a cluster f\/ck

That will be fair ,for all the time we have been waiting ,jeje 1 for every 6 months

VSC doesn't issue approvals in the middle of the week, they just send out duplicates of earlier approval emails (kind of like repeats on TV). That way they look busy.

Contrast them to CSC. VSC received our files in mid-February and didn't issue any approvals until the end of March. CSC received the NSC mass transfer files just a little over a week ago and has already issued about the same number of approvals as VSC.

Oh, to be in a rubber-stamp service center like CSC . . . .

Maybe they already made the card ,cause on mine says also that was touched today again ,,that is weird maybe tomorrow says that the card was delivered

Well had to update my dates, to ?? because not positive when we sent it in as we don't have the letter anymore. Anyway we did get updated on the site today changing our statust from it being transferred to "Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred."

Not sure what that actually means but I hope it means it is making its way through the system. We were informed it moved on the 2nd of April to VSC.

So NOBODY got approved today? It really does look like they are only approving cases on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

They probably only have some temp PT people working on our cases... lets hope they approve us all in the next run.

Maybe the "rank and file" USCIS employees actually review our cases for substance. It looks like the RFEs/interviews out of the VSC occur at a higher rate than the CSC. As for Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays- those are the days when the "supervisors" approve them (or are working)

Please add me to the list: NOA 4/19/07; Biometrics haven't been done yet (yes, I'm working on it); and last touch: 2/14/08. What gives with that last touch date? Everybody else was touched on 2/25/08. Do you think they just lost my application?

The reason that Biometrics haven't been done yet is that they never sent me an ASC appointment. Taking advice from this forum, I managed to get an immigration officer on the phone, and I just got an ASC appointment letter.

We recieved the email and update last week 4/2/08 that it was updated and then on 4/9/08 say that it was now pending and then today it said it was updated today with the same status. Does this mean they are "touching it" and actually doing something with it.

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing because it has jurisdiction over the case.

On April 2, 2008, we transferred this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case.

April 8

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred. The CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office

We got similar e-mails (February transfers). Note the April 8 e-mail doesn't say its at the VSC, but it really is - it confused me at first. The April 2 e-mail was sent by the TSC saying they were about to ship it to VSC and the April 8 e-mail is from the VSC saying they have it. Its good news that they didn't lose it in shipping.

And now, you wait.....

Thanks kalstravels, makes a bit more sense now. I guess these last 2 or three days when they are saying it has been updated is probably them just filing it at the back of the long list. Cant wait to see what applying for a citizenship process is like.

And you should get a letter in the mail stating yes indeed, you are being transferred to VSC.
