When I got my letter a few weeks ago to retake my fingerprints they also put a new SRC# on it but its not a number you can look up online. My case is still tied to the old SRC #. You could always call and ask but I don't think its a big deal.

I just discover that under my new I-551 stamp in my passport, I have been given a new SRC number. Is this a typo or is this because I have been relocated to the USCIS district office?

I retook my fingerprints almost 3 weeks ago and since then I have had NO touches on my case. Its good to hear someone else in this group was requested to do them again.

Got a letter requesting I appear for Biometrics again. Hopefully once that's done they'll be able to approve the application.

it takes around 6 weeks to get approval after redoing biometrics in my case.

We sent I-751 to TSC in early March of 2007 as the two year anniversary was May 26, 2007. Did biometrics on April 24, 2007, got letter in February 2008 saying it was transferred to VSC and nothing since then. As the one year extension was getting close to running out, made INFOPASS appointment on May 16, 2007 and got passport stamped for six month extension. Officer said to come back in November if we didn't receive GC by then for another six month extension. Is a six month extension customary when you get passport stamped?

UPDATE.. got a letter from INS with appointment (August 22, 2008) to do fingerprints again, evidently you have to redo them every 18 months, it has been 16 months since we did biometrics. Still no GC......

It's been almost a month since I repeated my biometrics and I haven't heard anything yet. No touches on CRIS and nothing by mail.

Hopefully I'll hear from them soon! I don't think I can call them until 60 days has past.
