Just a quick reminder, if you keep the maple syrup in the fridge, time to take it out so it's not cold on the pancakes!

Good tip hon!!!

Absolutely!!! I made huge batches of blueberry and plain pancakes for breakfast. We had a house full of people last night who stayed over and many people who came over early this morning- Mardi Gras day starts early- I was on my second Caesar by 6:30 :)

Cheers MissStacey!

Ours were great! We had them with these new sausages that the butcher at the Fresh Market threw in for free. He wanted us to try them. Turned out to be the best sausages I've had since I got here, so I will be buying more of them. Yay for free and tasty sausages! Oh, and for real caesars! I'm so impressed that they have Clamato down here. LOL

I love pancakes for suppers. With pork sausage links. I think we've only done this once since we've been married. Gene thinks it's funny. Anyway, Gene has had flu like symptoms for a few days now, so we've been on the soup kick. Pancakes would have been too much I think.

When we were kids, we used to go to a community hall or church basement for Shrove Tuesday. Good fund raiser, good food!

The pancakes were great! I had the chicken bacon with mine, made hash browns and an egg for my Husband as well.
