We sent ours to Chicago via UPS and since it was going by courier they gave us a non post box address to send it to.

I'm just waiting now for my check to be cashed or for my husband to get something in the mail.

Did anyone else send their I-130 and their I-129F together? We were told to by an immigration officer and to send them together to the Chicago address, but I'm noticing that not many other people did that.

I think you had to do it that way because you're already married. You have to file the I-129f and your I-130 at the same time. For those of us who are engaged, we have to file JUST the I-129f so that our SOs can come into the country for the wedding.

I know it's early yet since they only received my petition on Monday, but they haven't deposited my check yet! I don't have a lot of patience so this situation is killing me! I keep logging into my bank account to see if it'####### yet.

How are you other February filers holding up? Are you doing any special long distance-y stuff with your loveys for V-day? I think my fiance and I are going to do what we do pretty much every night. Sit at our computers with video chat on and wish we weren't so far apart. I hope CSC gives me a Valentine's Gift...I'm hoping for an NOA1.

i'm going nuts.. but.. we both just bought webcams so we can at least 'see' each other LOL... i'm still waiting on his paperwork to get here so i can file.. that is driving me insane.. <shakes fist at postal service> aside from that.. not doing much. i sent him a special gift and pray he gets it soon.

My husband and I have web cams too the only problem is that we're 10 hours apart and he works the graveyard shift so our times to chat are few and far between sometimes. We mailed Valentines Day things over a month ago just to be sure they would get there on time, plus our one year wedding anniversary was on February 3.

I know how most of you are feeling with checking bank accounts regularly for cashed checks and whatever else you're waiting on. I know personally I look at someone who has already heard SOMETHING and it gives me hope and I'm happy for the person and yes even a little bitter because nothing is happening with my papers. I think it's great that we have each other to talk to on here and get ideas on how long things are going to take.

What are most of you filing for...K-3 for fiances, for spouses or K-1?

I'm working on the hairpulling...I'm trying to leave some left for the wedding, though!

I totally understand about seeing other people hear something. I'm so happy for them that they got news...but it makes me worried about my own petition because I haven't heard anything and I'm jealous because I would love to have ANYTHING.

Vernon-I think we're pretty much all filing fiance visa petitions (K1). You're in the K1 visa section...I'm pretty sure there is a section for K3, but you're welcome to hang out with us here.

I love my webcam (well...more specifically I love HIS webcam). I'd be going crazy without being able to hear his voice every day. Well...more likely my phone bill would be ridiculously high. B)

we not only use the webcams but also Ventrilo so we can 'talk' and not really pay for a phone bill. it works out well!!

Ventrilo is fantastic, he has a Vent server, but we always found that we got a lot of lag. That's why we switched over to Skype (does webcam and audio in one package), it's also free and we don't have to worry about lag.

I'm sorry I actually didn't realise it was a thread JUST for K-1 till it came to my email. I did a search for February filers and this is what I came up with. Good luck to all of you and thanks to aravis227 for your offer....at least you didn't come off as being mean about my mistake.
