I just checked my email, and there it was; we've been approved after almost 2 months of applying. They received the application feb 14th, approved today it seems. I'm at work now, but I'll be updating my timeline once I get home. Good luck to everybody else waiting that filed in february, that is waiting to be approved.

Congrats on your approval, it moves really fast now :whistle:

Hi Fabulous February Filers,

Things went fast for us and I received the NVC notice dated April 7th saying that the petition will be forwarded to London. So far my Man in the UK hasn't heard from London -- is this normal?

I feel like we're in limbo. How long does it take London to send the first packet out? Anyone know?

Meanwhile, it's great having all of you journeying along with us, breaks up the monotony and stress somewhat to know that everyone else is going through this stuff.

Mine was about a week, but from what I can see its about 6 weeks to interview from when they get packet 3 back.

I absolutely agree... I prayed I'd make it through the waiting and I wasn't really hoping for a fast approval because I didn't wanna get my hopes up. and When I got the NOA2 email I thought it was a joke because i came in only a little over a month. I was in shock.

As for getting packet 3 after my NOA2.... it took about a month from London. but once we got packet 3 everything has gone so fast. we got packet 4 in 6 days of sending packet 3 and our interview is a little over 3 weeks from sending packet 3. I kept up with the process calling the NVC when it was suppose to be there then calling the DOS 4 days after sending packet 3 just to make sure they received packet 3 and to my surprise we had already had an interview scheduled! they said its for May 2nd.. I made them repeat it 3 times because I thought i was hearing it wrong. I started to cry I was sooo happy! so now we're coming close to interview time and we're both a ball of nerves.

best of luck to everyone!!!
