Off to the races on 2-27-2008 VSC.

Welcome ... and here's to a speedy journey :)

Hi All,

If they recieve my I-129F today or tomorrow, I'm on the Feb filer ship but if they recieve it on the 1st, am I considered a March filer on the site :) ... ???

Good luck too all :)

If they receive it tomorrow you'll only be on the Feb filer list once every 4 years

This gets talked about a lot - who's in what month. Igor's list uses the mailing date as being the most consistently accurate. The NOA1 date that people enter seems to have a lot of inconsistencies - not with the date on the NOA1, just the number people enter. Go wherever you feel more comfortable - better yet, be active in both, there's lots of good people here. Congrats on getting it all together. Now you get to sit back and relax for a bit.

Agreed -- I filed at the end of January, but my NOA1 was February, so I kind of hang out in both the January & February threads :)

Anyhow ... Welcome and here's to a speedy NOA2 :)

Based on NOA1 and the received date, I think I would also need to be active in the February filers thread. I hope everybody is hanging on tight... February filers day is coming. Next week would be march already, who knows we will be seeing february approvals then.

God speed everyone.

Welcome MissingHer, glad to see another CSC. Vermont seems to be working so much faster.

I know the feeling! But I keep thinking "well...if everyone I see is at VSC that must mean that CSC's workload is going to drop and they'll speed WAY up...right?...right?"

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

Very true, I didn't think of it that way! Always think positive right?

Ok...lemme start off with today has been one of those BAD days. The ones where everything we're doing seems so hopeless. Like my visa is never going to be approved. Where the idea of how much time we have to wait seems so overwhelming and I just need to rant for a minute to people who will understand how frustrating this is. I just took a look at my timeline and the estimated date has changed...to LATER in August than it said earlier today. I thought those dates were supposed to get CLOSER to now...not farther away. I am so frustrated with this entire process. I have a friend who went through the fiance visa hoops about 6 years ago and while they were waiting for the approval a cousin of hers had his foreign fiancee just move to the US, they got married, got a lawyer, and she was legal and working within 30 days. Well...why in the world am I bothering to do this the legal way when there are essentially no repercussions for doing it the wrong way...I can come up with lawyer money if that's what I need to do. I'm not really going to do that because I really do feel that I need to go through the paces and do it right...it's just infuriating to know that if I threw out my regard for the law I could have my love here with me. It's like being punished for doing the right thing.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.
