There is no price for freedom. How much did the terrorist attacks on our country cost us? How much is it still costing us? There is good vs evil in this world and a lot of our "allies" are simply not faithful allies because of their own corruption with these dictator/terroist regimes. We should be helping in Africa. I know you take the greatest threat out first and then go for the next one. Best wishes all you believers in this thread. Any you are not asses! Name calling is not called for!!!

You see that's the problem - you seem to see the war on terror as some sort of crusade against evil. What I'm saying is good and evil are relative concepts - you say our allies are corrupt because they collaborate with dictators. I say US along with every major european power has done this. They are all corrupt - that's why its so dangerous to accept government rhetoric at face value.

What is going on in the world is often very different to way it is framed for our consumption by the media and by politicians. That's why its important not to take the rhetoric at face value, its everyone's responsibility to educate themselves and form their own views.

You say take out the greatest threat - but Iraq wasn't the greatest threat, by any means. He was militarily crippled and had nothing approaching the sort of arms he had during the first gulf war. He posed no threat whatsoever to anyone other than his own people.

Sorry about the change. That is just the story without the forum.

NP I read the other article. I myself would still find it questionable. You have one guy stating this who also is promoting his book. Trying to bolster sales of his book might be considered ulterior motives.

The WMD issue is a disturbing issue, because we keep claiming that and going after countries we don't like who might have them but just signed deals with India over the same thing and are at peace with them. Addtionally every country in the world knows that we not only have WMD's but also know we have used them and just how horrible that was. What we are using as a reason to attack others could easily be turned on us using known facts.

It's kind of like the saying "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
