Well, the long wait is over! I recieved a letter from the National Visa Center and it says we are approved and within a week, it will be forwarded to the embassy in London.

I can't tell you how happy I am - so relieved. I am crying now and my 7 year old is asking why. When I told her that we were approved, she wanted to know what kind of cake we were having for the wedding. So cute.

So, I am so happy and cannot wait to tell Phil - I will be talking to him in about 45 minutes. Can't wait.....

THANK YOU so much to everyone that has given support in any way - I truly appreciate knowing such wonderful people. So onto the next stage of this journey...

03/12/2008 = Touched (due to phone call)

05/05/2008 = Arrived at Consulate

06/24/2008 = Interview Date and APPROVAL

Audrey - call DOS and give them your case number - see if you can find out if your case is at NVC, when they received it and if they sent it out or not yet :)

Also check with CSC/USCIS to see if they have sent out your NOA2 hard copy if you haven't received it :D
