I don't think this incident says anything about the muslim religion or the environment they come from. It tells us what we already know, there are some people in this world that are cruel and in a mob situation people who wouldn't normally behave in a certain way can be influenced to do so.

Of course not, nothing evil done by any Muslim or by any government of a Muslim country says anything about the religion or the person's environment. No true Muslim would do these things or teach anyone to do them, and all true Muslim teachers publically condemn such evil.

Well said. You are wise.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Someone needs to reminds those idiots then............ Religion of Peace my #######........

Well, it is only a fraction of people who distort the religion for their own means. The majority of Muslims ARE peaceful. If you look back into the murky past of Christianity you'll find your fair share of murder and ethnic cleansing going on in the name of God there too.

Well said. Few Muslims murder people in the name of Islam, though Islam says "killing a person for no reason is similar to kill the whole mankind." Islam does not allow forceful conversion. It says, "There is no compulsion in religion." In my opinion, if one is forced to accept a religion and to get married, that conversion and marriage will fall apart. Christians also killed people in the name of God, though Jesus said, "Though shall not kill."

That bad things are done in the name of X religion does not equate to the fact that X religion condones or advocates those bad things. I believe we might be in need of some more Venn diagrams.

Maybe some of the more simple LSAT questions, like of the all Labradors are dogs but not all dogs are Labradors variety. Mix it up a bit.

I see posting old muslim bashing articles is in vogue again here in OT. Must pick out some old pedophile priest pieces I guess to even the score.

Senegal parrots? Persian cats? Siamese fighting fish? Japanese pearls?Russian mink? Hungarian goulash?.....nah.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I don't really think that bashing any religion is a good idea. I do think that some practices seem quite crazy to me but maybe these people think that how other religions do things are crazy? I think people should be able to practice their own religion however they want as long as they're not doing anything that is against the law or harming others

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Christians are being persecuted and martyred not only in Pakistan, but Burma, China, Sudan and so on...

But how often do you hear of this? Seems you always hear the Muslim community crying about the oppression the Jews or Christians are placing on them. Sad world.
