My hubby is going to contact his congresswoman soon! Have any of you'll contacted one before? How did it work for you? How did you contact?

We're so frustrated by this wait. I hope he gets some help from her. I miss you so much.

Here is a link to a senate search engine. I would suggest finding your U.S. Senator or Congress person's website (by doing a state search on that site) and either calling their local office or using their website to email them.

My congressman's office has an immigration specialist and she was very helpful. I forwarded her the details of our application via email and she got in touch with someone at the service center to discuss it. Shortly afterwards, we had the NOA2 approval. I don't know if it's just a coincidence...

When you contact their office, they'll have you sign a letter authorizing them to make an inquiry. If they have a local office convenient to do so, I would simly walk in there to talk to them. If the staff member that deals with immigration isn't available, at least ask to sign the letter of authorization and ask them to call you ASAP. That may speed their inquiry.

In the beginning i think i just emailed and rec'd the form, they need to know the details of your case, etc problems you are having and what you are expecting from them, each time i have ask mine to help they have been very good to respond but i will add i also did contact a couple of others that never responded, so hope yours takes a interest if not try another one from that area. Realize they mostly can only get needed information sometimes that we cant pull out of anyone else but they can not make anyone hurry or change decisions already made.
