Manning did it. I'm still stoked. Giants 17, Patsies 14. No perfect season for the Pats and handsome Tom Brady. I wonder if Gisele Bundchen, his GF, is going to run through the streets of NYC naked as she promised. I don't care, no more hype from those Boston TV stations. Greatest football team of all time? Pats lost, wicked pisser. :P

I was hoping for a good game and it sure was!! There were a few players onthe Pats that iwould have enjoyed seeing win (jr seau, Moss) but was pretty happy with the under dogs winning, can't go wrong there. Mannings Super Bowl MVP's back to back!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

We were thrilled that the Giants pulled it off!!

Okay, seriously. I'm quite indifferent to football but my husband and family like it. Anyhoo.... the after-game stuff when first one guy claimed that they were the best in the "world" and I looked at my husband and made a remark. Then when the next guy said how this proved that they were the best in the "world", well..... I smacked my forehead and said "I can't watch this any longer". And Americans wonder why the rest of the WORLD thinks they're arrogant. *shakes head*

Hmmm. Maybe this should have gone into the vent thread. Sorry. :blush:

tee hee.. let them think what they want.. if they could win the World Cup THEN they'd be the best in the "world".. yeah.. no idea how "big" the world is for sure- or how "small" american football is in comparison to the other "world-wide" sports. :)

My sweetie watched the game whilst I was pre-occupied with reading thingies; I did look up to watch the commercials, of course.

sister -- I said exactly the same thing at the in-laws last night.... but then again, my in laws are communists bourgeoisies from Mercer Island :lol:, so they agreed with me :unsure:
