We were recently married on our K1 visa on January 28 and now we're left researching about AOS. I have a burning question...how can my wife obtain a work permit while waiting before the issuance of a green card?

WELL IF I WAS YOU I WAIT FOR THE GREEN CARD BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR EAD CARD AND WHEN SHE GETS THE GREEN CARD YOU DONT

File for EAD WITH the AOS filing.

EAD costs nothing when I-765 application is included with the I-485.

DO NOT FILE FOR EAD BEFORE FILING I-485, this results in a 90 day EAD that expires 90 days after entry, this EAD costs $340, and takes up to 90 days to get. (A USELESS EAD CARD)

That is incorrect. File the I-765 (and for Advance Parole if you want to leave the US before the G.C.) with the AOS and it is all the same fee. You pay 1010$ fee for AOS regardless of if you file for the EAD and AP or not. You should get both AP and EAD within 90 days.
