With that said, OP, maybe instead of going to a website, you could take a trip/ vacation there?

I don't see a problem in looking online. I think that's lost the stigma it had in the late 90s/early 00s. But did you use a marriage broker? I think that's what most people object to. well i also went thru the first page of the thread " How did you meet your fiance"

and it was mostly met in person situations, so i just dont have tim to go thru pages and pages of a thread to see the same thing over and over. i was not and never will degrade anyone who met online, hell ive met my ex boyfriend online, but i wouldnt go searching for a soulmate online out of nowhere

My point was (before i go home)

!. yes its weird to me to call a broker and ask to buy a specific person

2. its weird to me to wake up one day, have an urge to be with a certain person from a certain country and then join a immigration forum to find out good sites to find my who knows who foriegn soulmate

Yep. Soul-mate evokes a strong image - the idea that there is one and only one person out there for us. IMO, anyone seeking their soul-mate is just setting themselves up for disaster no matter how they meet their future spouse.
