Hi all,

I recently received Packet 3 for my K1 application from the embassy in London. As my police check had not yet arrived, I just sent back forms DS-230, DS-156, DS-156K, and DS-157 right away, as instructed. At this stage I was not expecting to hear back from the embassy - I hadn't posted the forms indicating that I had all my documents together, and the way I understood it, Packet 4 couldn't be issued without this confirmation.

Even so, I seem to have recieved Packet 4 already... in the form of a letter from the Immigrant Visa Branch giving me an interview at the end of the month. Accompanying this letter were replica forms from Packet 3 - IV15, telling me to send off DS-230 etc, and IV18a - the description of the medical proceedures. The letter also contained the following wording:

"The date and time of your interview at the Embassy is shown below and an outline of what your visit to the Embassy will entail is included in the enclosed package, form IV18 (or IV19 for K1 or K3 visa applicants)"

There was no copy of IV19 included...

So, is this some kind of error on behalf of the Embassy? What does IV19 actually say? Should I contact the Embassy for clarification (if yes... how?), or should I just show up on the day and hope for the best?

Any insight welcome...
