Received AOS Biometrics But No Biometrics for EAD

Hello everyone ,

I know for many people this is just a waiting game :unsure: well anyway all I can say is just keep on going. We received my husbands biometrics appointment for AOS on the 5th May 2006, which was received by CSC 20th February 2006, . The problem is that we applied for the EAD on the same date , online.

We were then advised that you cannnot apply for EAD online so we resubmitted EAD and received NOA1 on April 3rd 2006 , can we ask for biometrics for EAD when he has his biometrics for AOS on the 5th May 2006.

I do hope you can help on this one. :thumbs:

Most of the time, if they see that you have an NOA1 for both AOS And EAD they will do them together. They did that with mine.

AOS and EAD

December 5th 05 - AOS and EAD sent

December 16th 05 - NOA's received for both AOS and EAD

December 31st 05 - Receive letter for AOS interview

February 6th 06 - AOS Interview - APPROVED

February 16th 06 - Biometrics Appointment

February 22nd 06 - EAD Approved via e mail

February 27th 06 - EAD card in mail!!!

March 6th 06 - Got a job!

March 17th 06 - Green Card Approval via e mail

March 18th 06 - 'Welcome to America' letter arrives

March 24th 06 - Green Card Arrives!

Just bring your EAD and AOS NOAs in addition to your appointment letter and ask the ASC staff if they can do both. There's no harm in asking! :)

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

I never got a letter for EAD biometrics, only for AOS. When I went to get those done they did the EAD ones as well!

met on Hawaii in 2002

got engaged Dec. 19 2004 in Amsterdam

married Sep 15 2005 on Mackinaw Island, MI

I had different dates for my biometric appointments for both AOS and EAD, and they did them both on the same date (the EAD as it was earlier).

09/27/05: Posted I-129F to VSC

09/30/05: Received NOA1 from VSC

10/08/05: NVC receives I-129F from VSC

11/28/05: Medical completed in Dakar

11/30/05: Interview completed in Dakar

12/01/05: Received visa in Dakar

12/22/05: Arrived in the U.S. via JFK & received temp. EAD

12/28/05: Applied for SSN

12/29/05: Applied for marriage licence

01/07/06: Got married!

01/17/06: Received SSN (still waiting for actual card)

01/18/06: Started new job

01/18/06: Applied for Maine state ID

01/26/06: Sent EAD, AOS and AP applications to Chicago lockbox

01/28/06: Received Maine state ID

02/04/06: Received NOA1 for AOS and AP, sent in wrong check for EAD :(

02/06/06: Resent EAD to Chicago lockbox

02/14/06: Received NOA1 for EAD

02/15/06: Received biometrics appointment date

03/10/06: Gave biometrics

03/24/06: AP approved via email

03/30/06: Received AP document in mail

The same was the case for me. Overall, ASC staff seem to be pretty reasonable about accommodating requests.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail
