You know what I'm talking about. That certain girl or guy who was popular and thought that they were better than you back in the day.

Actually yes. I ran into a girl that was super super popular and very smart. All she talked about was how she was going to leave our small town behind and never look back. A while back I saw her, she was the waitress at our local restaurant. She came over and took our order, I asked her how she had been. She got very defensive and asked if I was going to talk ####### about her being a waitress. I told her no, I had no desire to talk badly to her and I would not look down on anyone. I explained....some of us don't exactly think about being polite only on terms of social status. She said well I know you never really liked me. I told her the biggest problem I had with her was how she treated people in the past.

I still left feeling bad. But I realized that some of how she treated people in school was probably insecurity.....

I run into people I went to grade school and high school with all the time. They all say they recognize me cause I look the same. Half the time I don't remember much about them.

I ran into my first grade teacher a few weeks ago and she knew me immediately. It's kind of creepy.

It was weird. About 3 weeks ago my family went out ot the mall and everywhere I looked I saw someone I graduated with. The best was this gal I couldn't stand in high school. She was on our cheerleading squad and no one on the squad cared for her. She was the one bragging about the pink Miata daddy bought her, how she was winning all these beauty pagents and how her daddy bought her her very own tanning bed. Well, now she looks about 30 years older than she is....looks like hell and when we asked her what she was doing now she avoided the answer. Guess she's still living with daddy.

The others I ran into are now cops, a professor (ex boyfriend) and a cook. It was good to see everyone, but when we left my husband said I still look younger than everyone. :D

People who brag all the time annoy me so much.

I'm still pretty young all my HS friends just finished college last year so no one really looks that different. A few have gained weight and some have lost but I never really had anyone I hated or anyone that was mean to me. I was basically friends with people in all types of social groups. I did have a strange encounter about a year and a half ago which is classed as running into someone but it was a person I was friends with. I was at the grocery store frantically searching for nutella because I was having a craving and someone walked up behind me and said "well you didn't tell me you were coming in town" I was thinking to myself ####### so I said "well I didn't know you wanted to know" and then I turned around and saw who it was and was like oh hmmm...who is this and then I realised who it was  that's my only real encounter

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Over the summer, I got an e-mail from my very first boyfriend ever. Eventually, he was loading on the compliments. I was like yeah, makes you wish you hadn't been such a jacka$$ now doesn't it.
