Hi there,

I am wondering whether it's possible to get my medical check up done while waiting for the whole K1 visa process? We've only just submitted our application. I am hoping it will help speed things up if i can get my medical done soon. Is there a certain time frame in which our medical report can be valid for?

Thanks!

 its not possible. In the Philippines, we can have our early medical as soon as we have our appointment letter either by mail/online. A month before the embassy interview would be best. In your case just have an executive check up just to know if everythings well with you and for personal reasons. GOODLUCK.

if you just submitted your application my advice is ,to waite till at least till you get package 3 ,

if you go to early and the k1 process takes a while they might ask you for another full medical when its time to file AOS ,

as the medical is only valide for 1 year , and who knows how long the process will be.

when its time to file for AOS after you enterd the states with the aproved K1 ,

and they notice your medical is close to expiration they might ask you for another full medical for AOS ,

as to if you waite a bit and go when you have package 3 , your sure to be good for AOS process as well as K1 dont have to have another full medical when they apply for AOS , ( if your K1 aplicant ) , good luck

I advised you to wait for your appointment letter for your medical exam. The Medical Exam result is vailid for 6 months.

When do you expect to receive your PAcket 3 from the embassy?
