I did, yesterday evening. It went well actually-helped me make an important decision regarding our Visa case. As of right now, I don't have anything to share, other than on the radio this morning, they had Daddy Yankee who spoke of loving his language, country, and heritage, and that he had much respect and love for those who leave the comfort of their country to come and work, but that he has no idea how his name got connected with support of the various demonstrations and protests that have been going on.

Seriously? It is? Hmmm.. now that I haven't heard. But isn't he PR?

Yeah, and yes, I think he is from PR. But this is turning into a whole Latino AND Mexican thing-not just a Mexican thing. Even Javier had heard that Daddy Yankee was in support of it.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

CNN) -- More than three-quarters of Americans favor allowing illegal immigrants who have spent many years in the United States to apply for citizenship, according to a poll conducted for CNN by Opinion Research Corp.

In the poll, released Tuesday, 77 percent of those responding favored allowing illegal immigrants who have been in United States for more than five years to stay and apply for citizenship if they have a job, and pay a fine and back taxes. Twenty percent said they opposed such a measure.

No one asked me. There's the door don't let it hit you in the *ss on the way out.

Would take a much more ruthless government than we have now to do that, and that's saying something.

I think Saddam is available. Rested and ready Saddam in 2008. LOL

The sort of mass deportations we would be talking about haven't been done since Hitler's time.

The point I think is valid. No mainstream party would endorse mass deportations, it simply will not happen, unless the political climate in the US takes a significant turn for the worse.

I don't propose to have the solution to this issue, I don't condone illegal immigration any more than anyone else, but I think the sheer scale of the problem - the fact that some illegals have been here so long that they have significant family and community ties will make an amnesty of some sort simply inevitable.

You are probably right that it's not going to happen, since the political will isn't there and just the logistics of rounding up that many people, but it seems that like what Arnold said that since the problem is so large we aren't going to do anything and everyone can stay like nothing happened. I wish the cops and meter maids giving out speeding and parking tickets felt the same. LOL
